The Cambodia Agricultural Value Chain Program (CAVAC) (the Program) aims to increase farmer incomes in the rice based farming systems of Cambodia through accelerating the value of agricultural production. The Goal of the Cambodian Agricultural Value Chain Program is reduced rural poverty in targeted provinces. The Objective of the Program is accelerated growth in the value of agricultural production and smallholder income in the rice based farming systems of targeted provinces. The Program aims to increase farmer incomes in ricebased farming systems of Cambodia - initially in three provinces - through accelerating the value of agricultural production. The program will commence in 2009 and be implemented over a five year period. |
