Oz-Dev: Vietnam Aust. Development Scholarships

The Australian Scholarships program is a key delivery mechanism and integral part of the Australian Government’s development cooperation program in Vietnam. AusAID funded scholarships for development include: (a) Australian Development Scholarships (ADS) is a bilateral scholarships program that is targeted at agreed priority human resource and development needs of recipient countries. The Government of Australia (GOA) has provided scholarships to Vietnam since 1992. (b) Australian Leadership Awards (ALA). Since 2007, GOA has implemented this regional scholarships program that aims to develop leadership, build partnerships and linkages within the Asia-Pacific. ALA program includes Scholarships (ALASs) and Fellowships (ALAFs). This Scope of Services is for the period from Contract Start Date to 31 January 2012 and covers the promotion, management, administration, monitoring and alumni functions for GOA scholarship programs in Vietnam. It also includes the development, trialling and implementation of new approaches aimed at increasing the application and take-up of scholarships to Australia.
