Under the new Aceh Project Framework, programming will transition from post-tsunami assistance towards a post-conflict program focused on local level improvements in government processes, basic services, community participation and creating an enabling environment for economic growth. The Local Governance Innovations for Communities in Aceh (LOGICA2) Project will form a key component of this work. The Aceh Program Framework incorporates four pillars that address the needs of the Province and link directly with the Country Strategy: (a) Sustainable economic opportunities for the people of Aceh; (b) Investing in the people of Aceh; (c) Demand for and supply of better governance in Aceh; and, (d) A safe and peaceful Aceh.
