The Support for Education Sector Development in Aceh (SEDIA) program is a new activity within the Australia Indonesia Partnership (AIP). It is intended to extend Australia’s direct assistance to the Aceh province until 2012. 1.2 SEDIA is a facility that will supplement and complement existing national, provincial and district resources to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of basic education throughout the province in line with policies, strategies, and key performance targets articulated in the 2007-2012 Aceh Provincial Education Strategic Plan (Nanggroe Aceh Darussalam Education Strategic Plan or NADESP).
