The Government of Kiribati (GoK), AusAID, NZAID and the UN are working collaboratively to support sustainable, long-term objectives for the education sector. In partnership with GoK, the three donors are seeking to move the focus of support for education towards a GoK-directed ‘sectoral’ approach built around the Ministry of Education’s (MoE) Strategic Plans, the GoK Kiribati Development Plans (currently the 2008-2011 KDP) and Human Resource Development (HRD) goals.
